Court bids launched to stop suspension of UK parliament

Johnson announced the decision to dismiss parliament next month for nearly five weeks. Amidst major protests, court bids were filed in London, Edinburgh and Belfast to halt the process. Many suspect it is a move to meet the Oct 31 Brexit deadline. An interim ruling is expected in the Edinburgh case on Friday.

Headline is hand-wringingly over-dramatic; this is normal from what has been described.

Why cant the open borders crowd stay consistent with their beliefs and just go live in the eu? If you dont believe in your nation and are dedicated to another nation, go live there. This is insane. Just leave. This whole saga is only about enslaving as many people as possible under one government and nothing to do with the flowery language it is packegized in.

Is this about the government shut down in America under the Obama administration? Was that before or after he gave Iran $400,000 to release that journalist hostage? I think before. I thought he paid them before he left office. Is this about Columbus, India, and Manson, Wei Wei? Cuz I can't afford to visit the Tate and don't feel like looking at coffins. You gonna charge $10?
