Judge rejects House Democrats’ request to fast-track Trump tax return case

A federal judge on Thursday denied an attempt by House Democrats to fast-track its attempt to force the Treasury Department and IRS to release President Trump’s tax returns. The ruling, however, does not stop the lawsuit by the House Ways and Means Committee. The judge suggested ’negotiating with the Administration before suing’ while questioning the expedition of the matter.

If they try so hard to violate the President's constitutional rights against unreasonable search and seizure, and due process imagine what they can do to an average private citizen.

How about we compromise. We force Trump to release his tax returns and also force all of Congress to release their abortion records.

Maybe if Obama hadn't shirked his duties as president to nominate judges in favor of golf games and vacations Trump wouldn't have been able to nominate 179 federal level judges and the left in this country would now be proud recipients of Trump's tax returns. But whatever, he the left's hero and his work ethic underscores why the left ALWAYS fails in the long run in this country. Salud!

If you want to be the most powerful person on earth you SHOULD have to prove you've at least been playing by rules. And on top of that Congress DOES have the authority to see his taxes.

they have the constitutional authority. if Trump could stop violating the constitution for five minutes then maybe something would get done.
