AOC mocks ’Straight Pride Parade’ over lack of women

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked Boston’s ’Straight Pride Parade’ for the lack of women attending the event. Ocasio-Cortez said the event should have been called the ’I-Struggle-With-Masculinity’ parade. About 200 people marched in the parade, meant to defend heterosexuality. Rep. Ayanna Pressley, who represents the Boston area, slammed the event as a ’hate march’.

my questions are simple....who was paying for travel expenses of all the protesters? and if the strait pride parade is a hate march then isnt the gay pride parade one as well? if simply expressing your orientation and pride of it is hate of other orientations I mean......

Yeah, because women's sexuality has never been under attack in this country. If a straight woman says another chick is hot, she isn't mocked into a corner by her friends and strangers alike. Men's straightness has always been an open wound ready for ridicule - waiting to be question, from before kids even know what sexuality is "what, are you gay?" is a classic way little boys harangue each other. Straight men are the ones being excluded, I'd be willing to bet most of them were white too, funny that. When you exclude and ostricize a group based on uncontrollable characteristics, they're more likely to ban together and make a statement in order to defend themselves. Reminds me of a few other times in recent American History.
