Merkel allies suffer double blow in German regional elections

Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservatives and her Social Democrat (SPD) coalition partners suffered a significant drop in support to the far right parties in two state elections in eastern Germany on Sunday. Merkel’s party remained the largest party in Saxony, but saw their share of the vote drop by 7.4 percentage points from the last election in 2014.

In the beginning there was globalism. Which allowed us all to behold diversity. But then the voters descended on all that was beholden and declared: WE DON'T WANT THIS SHIT!
