Pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong block access to international airport

Pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong set fire to barricades to block roads to the Hong Kong International Airport. Violent clashes with the police also left a train station damaged. Although flights continued to be operated, many were delayed. Unrest erupted three months ago over concerns about erosion of the autonomy granted to the territory when it was handed back to China in 1997.

I have a deep respect for these protestors, but I would like to caution them about their disruptive tactics, although they seem to be being used minimally, because China will simply use any disruptive or violent acts as an excuse to the crackdown.
