Trump to propose expedited death penalty for mass killings

Marc Short, US vice president’s chief of staff said their policy team is working with Attorney General William Barr to expedite the death penalty for individuals found guilty of carrying out mass shootings. This is expected to be included in the White House package of gun safety proposals to be presented to Congress.

I don't support this, it doesn't address the cause at all. In the case of the last shooter he died in the shootout with the police, so... how would an expedited death penalty help? All it would do is result in a weakening of the judicial process and human rights.

Again a move that does nothing to address the causes of mass shootings. Can we start looking to mental health care

...What the fuck does that address? Usually the shooter will kill them self already.
