Facebook stops scanning faces by default

Facebook is expanding access to its Face Recognition privacy setting, introduced in 2017, to all users, and will stop scanning faces by default. It has discontinued the related feature called ’Tag Suggestions’. The feature enabled users to choose whether Facebook could suggest that their friends tag them in photos, without giving them control over other uses of the technology.
