Hurricane Dorian heads for Florida

Forecasters have said Hurricane Dorian would come dangerously close to Florida’s east coast in the next 36 hours. More than a million people along the coast have been ordered evacuated. President Trump declared a state of emergency for South Carolina on Tuesday, freeing funds, other federal resources and manpower to assist during the storm and aftermath.

it was just rain and wind gusts on the Florida coast, great for surfing. those poor people in the Bahamas. I hope they can pick up the pieces and start again.

"Sank the Bahamas". What an incredibly misleading and over-dramatic headline. Hurricanes have been pasting everything in the Gulf of Mexico ever since there has BEEN a Gulf of Mexico. It's only been since 2001 that we could even predict 5 days into their future.
