Climate, post-conflict peace on pope’s Africa agenda

The pope heads to Mozambique on Wednesday to encourage the country’s fragile peace. His three-nation African tour is expected to see climate change, poverty and corruption, high on the agenda. Francis is expected to talk about peace when he meets Mozambique’s leaders on Thursday. President Filipe Nyusi of the ruling party and the leader of the opposition signed a permanent ceasefire last month.
