US hopes of herd immunity from Covid ’unlikely,’ say experts

Experts say the US is unlikely to reach herd immunity as more contagious COVID-19 variants spread and many Americans remain reluctant to get vaccinated. According to the CDC, currently, just under half of Americans have received one dose of a Covid vaccine, and about a third are fully vaccinated. ’The virus is unlikely to go away,’ Rustom Antia, an evolutionary biologist at Emory University, said.

Do not get vaccinated. It will only protect you against that single strain of Covid while making you vulnerable to every other strain out there.

Question for those who dont want the vaccine ,and for some reason call it pointless, would you do it if they paid you?

I’ve received both shots and still wear a mask because of variants, I’m responsible for my health and don’t care about what others think. Btw the vaccine is free.
