Rooster triumphs in battle over right to crow

Rooster triumphs in battle over right to crow

A court in France ruled in favor of the owner of a rooster, allowing the rooster to continue its early-morning crowing. A tribunal rejected a pensioner couple’s complaint about the bird’s early morning crowing and ordered them to pay €1,000 in damages to Corinne Fesseau, the owner of Maurice the rooster. The couple claimed that Maurice was disturbing the peace.
