H & M to boycott Brazilian leather unless unconnected to deforestation

With widespread fires in the Amazon being linked to pasture expansion, fashion major H & M has decided not to buy Brazilian leather unless suppliers prove that their wares are not connected to deforestation. Nearly 77, 000 fires had erupted in the Amazon this year.

H&M buys clothing made by slave labor in Bangladesh and Vietnam. How woke that they care more about trees than human lives!

But slaves are a resource utilised right! Amazon fires are baaaaddd. Trees are good. Slaves are good. Slave trees are the best! Enslave the trees! Just DO It!

More work madness, so over this. I understand why companies react this way, but its getting a bit crazy. For example in Australia they've banned single use plastic bags, however, you can buy a so called "reusable plastic bags" for 15 cents. Yet, they sell these stupid "collectable plastic toys" (that will end up in landfill), everything they sell is wrapped in plastic, they just want to seem like they're doing something good, just PR stunts.
