Job growth slows in August

The month of August showed a slowdown in job growth, with the US economy managing to 130,000 jobs, as compared to the 159,000 added in the month of July. This is as per the latest jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The slowdown also suggests that economic growth is being held back by severe labor shortage.
