Arrests at southern border drop to 64,000 in August

Acting CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan said Monday that U.S. immigration authorities apprehended 64,000 people at the southern border in August. This is the third consecutive month to see a decrease in apprehensions. The total number of arrests marks a roughly 22 per cent decrease from July and a 60 per cent decrease from May.

In May it was over 144k, and July it drops to 64k - Glad that Trump is building the wall!

The same or better result could have been achieved by making Mexico close it's southern borders at the beginning of his term. All the wall crap could have been avoided. There is no new wall.
