Senate panel cancels vote on key spending bill amid standoff

The Senate Appropriations Committee on Wednesday canceled votes on two spending bills that had been scheduled for the following day. The panel had been scheduled to vote Thursday on spending bills covering the departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Labor and Education, as well as the State Department and foreign operations.

I have always been disgusted by the sexist hypocrisy of the government in funding "women's healthcare" (ie: infanticide) but they are not funding any men's healthcare. Personally I don't think there should be ANY funding for abortion. Or gay parades. Or straight parades for that matter. If the government stopped paying for all this crap there wouldn't be any deficit.
