Pope says he prays schism can be thwarted

Pope Francis said on Tuesday he prayed that dissent from American Catholic conservatives would not lead to a division in the Church. Francis added that he was willing to listen to critics and make corrections. Francis also implied that some of his critics were hypocrites for accusing him of being ’a communist pope’ even though he said the same things about social issues as late Pope John Paul.

He is a hypocrite; totally caved to the Chinese Communist Party and allows them to select the clergy leadership there in China. He can't claim that he is concerned about the issue of political ideology creeping into Catholic doctrine when the CCP has been allowed by him to do exactly that.

I really dislike this pope. I don't think you can sit there and Gloat that your way is better than my country when my country is getting stronger and the people you surround yourself with are getting arrested for pedophilia.

It's about the money. America is the single largest source of funds for the Catholic church.

Pope Francis’s Catholicism is built on rigid ideology our clergy is ordered like an army our financial matters are ordered like a corporation and the catechism offers advice as dictates on more things then any country’s book of laws. To suggest that “ridge ideology” doesn’t matter is not only a sin but also an insult to the thousands of people who have laid down there lives supporting the church over the centuries. I mean hell the reason we lost the Russians English Greeks and Arabs was over the dating of Easter and a refusal to allow divorce.

Interesting times to be a Christian, I often wonder what the Church will look like at the start of it's fourth millennium, and then I wonder if people a thousand years ago could imagine the state of Christiandom today.
