Venezuelan military conducts drills on Colombian border

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro launched extended military exercises along its border with Colombia on Tuesday, drawing Washington’s attention amid rising friction between the South American neighbors. Roughly 150,000 military personnel will conduct drills through Sept. 28, said Remigio Ceballos, strategic commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, who is overseeing operations.

My country is starving because socialism destroyed the economy. Better have a military exercise. Sure. Makes sense.

Maduro needs to be doing some of those military drills with his troops, might lose that fat gut and double chin he has now. Funny how socialism starves everyone else but the leaders....

If you ever find yourself being the ruthless dictator of a South American country with massive civil unrest and everyone hates you, just blame something else.
