Be nice if we could commemorate it by abolishing the airport security screening crap. Useless security theater.

It seems like everything is so over sensationalist nowadays. The media played right into the terrorists hands then, and it continues to today. This was not the first time a plane had struck a building in Manhattan. The only difference with this time was that this time around, the cameras were rolling; spreading fear across the nation live on television. I feel like the media has always been a fear-mongering, subversive force in American history. The media’s always been quick to jump to conclusions and to deceive people. Think about some major incidents in American history: The sinking of the USS Maine, the Lusitania, the economic crash of 1928, Pearl Harbor, the Mekong river incident... All of these events have politically motivated and biased press releases urging action against a certain entity. Hell. Even relatively smaller events like presidential elections are like this. I’m not certain if I’m just running on a tangent but I just feel like with everything going on as of recent years it seems almost normal that the media has no scale of the emotional spectrum besides the extremes.
