Hillary Clinton warns of consequences to pulling troops from Afghanistan

Hillary Clinton has warned of ’huge consequences’ from President Biden’s decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan. Clinton said there is the potential collapse of Kabul and the takeover by the Taliban and the resumption of global terrorist activities. She added, ’we can’t afford to walk away from the consequences of that decision.’ All U.S. troops are expected to leave Afghanistan by Sep. 11.

She should be forced to live in the US consulate in Benghazi for the rest of her life with her pedophile husband. Also I have tried all the possible self censorship on this comment and can't find the word of phrase that makes it trigger the censor. If anyone knows please let me know. Hint it's not the word pedo.

God dam can the Clintons just go away. They have money and Bill was president. Hilary wont be president but that does not mean she has to try to keep american imperialism humming.

Why Hillary, is it because you and your friends make a lot of money when the U.S are participating in these regime change wars.

We signed a treaty, historically treaties signed by previous administrations have been honored by following administration's, regardless of party. Reneging on the treaty with the taliban will cause irreparable damage to the US in the region and will make it impossible to pull out safely. Though that's probably the plan.

She is a warmonger. No surprise there. I remember when she was running against Trump, Russia started to deploy a HUGE naval force to Syria, freaking out all Northern European countries in the process while passing by, over the assumption that she would win. They assumed all-out war was imminent. Don't listen to her. If she had it her way, every nation that has oil or poor people would be carpet bombed daily.

Ah yes, let's listen to the war hawk who sold uranium to one of Americans enemies. People on both sides of the spectrum know she is full of bs.

Regardless of ones thoughts on Hillary Clinton's politics - mine are certainly very negative - it is important to note that what she is saying here is correct. The departure of US troops could have potentially severe consequences by enabling the Taliban to seize greater control of the country. However, if we take the analysis of the US intelligence community at face value, the concern that Afghanistan could become a center for Jihadist terrorism has ostensibly been dissuaded. Ultimately, it is very difficult to argue that the US should continue to extend it's presence in the region when it never should have been there in the first place. The resources the US utilizes to fund foreign imperialism should be turned inward and used to support working class Americans at home.

Either we fight a forever war and occupy an unstable country (thus keeping it unstable) until our own country collapses or we pull out and risk the people making their own decisions on how their country is ran (which may include becoming the terrorist state we set them up to be).

I can’t believe that I agree with her somewhat on a point. We created a void in leadership and control of the country when we went in and stirred thing up. A quick withdraw is not necessarily the best thing to do. I agree with a withdraw but not at the speed with which this is being done. What do you think is going to happen with the void of central control of the country? Who do you think is going to take power?

She is right. There are huge consequences to remive the troops, but there were more consequences to go there at the first place, which she had to think about when she ordered the troops to be sent, almost 20 years ago. If someone should shut up and hide as deep as possible, Clinton would be the perfect person.
