Almost all Americans ’troubled’ by current state of media

According to a new study from PR agency Bospar, 95 per cent of Americans are ’troubled’ by the state of the media. The survey covered 1,010 American adults. 53 per cent cited ’reports on fake news’, 49 per cent cited ’reporting gossip’, and 48 per cent cited ’lying spokespeople’, as the key causes. 67 per cent believe ethics in journalism will be worse during the 2020 presidential campaign.
