MIT scientists create ’blackest’ substance ever

MIT scientists created a material that they claim is the ’blackest black’ ever created. The material, which traps 99.9% of light, was made from nanotubes, which are small pieces of carbon 50,000 times smaller than the width of a human hair.

Pretty neat and I bet this is going to have some interesting applications. Hopefully they use "fulgin" for the name...
