Kremlin calls for caution, offers to sell weapons to Saudi Arabia post attacks

The Kremlin has urged caution in the Middle East and has offered weapons to Saudi Arabia post attacks on one of the Kingdom’s crude processing plants, which is also the largest in the world. Russia’s comments come in sharp contrast with those of the US, with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo saying that Iran had launched an attack on the global energy supply.

I'm not an expert, but what does Iran have to gain from the attack? To me Yemeni Houthi group have more to gain.

Who knows, this could be the final nail in Iran's coffin if there is any real evidence that they orchestrated the attack. Even countries like Russia and China need to maintain the world's energy infrastructure and that means protecting Saudi oil fields. Russia might be better positioned to find a diplomatic solution with Iran but you can bet that it'll come with a firm slap on the wrist and a carefully worded warning to mind their manners at the very least.

I don't think the Saudis are in the market for cut rate discount weaponry somehow.
