Iran’s Khamenei says U.S. policy of maximum pressure will fail

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday the country will never hold one-on-one talks with the US but could engage in multilateral discussions if it returns to the 2015 deal. Khamenei said the US ’policy of maximum pressure will fail’.

Removing talks (non-force) from the set of options for dealing with Iran is an unusual move, but I don't think it is going to have the results Iran thinks.
