Manhattan District Attorney sued by Trump

Cyrus Vance, the district attorney of Manhattan was sued by President Donald Trump on Thursday. The President questioned the constitutional validity of the subpoenas issued by Mr. Vance. The lawsuit followed a report in The New York Times which stated that Mr. Vance had subpoenaed Mazars, President Trump’s accounting firm.

this is basically an admission that they're trying to block the release of his tax returns because it shows he committed a crime "Trump is arguing that the subpoena is unconstitutional because a sitting president cannot be criminally charged, and that means a president can't be subjected to "criminal process," such as a grand jury subpoena." why would anyone support allowing the president to commit crimes with complete impunity? if a president needed to break the law to do something noble then they should live with the consequences. In this case he just paid off a porn star to suppress the story and help himself get elected
