Walmart to discontinue sale of e-cigarettes

The sale of electronic cigarettes will be discontinued at Walmart and Sam’s Club stores, Walmart announced on Friday. The sale of e-cigarettes will be discontinued once the current inventory finishes, the Bentonville based retailer announced. The decision comes in the wake of a series of mysterious deaths and illnesses that have been linked to vaping.

But Walmart wasn’t selling contaminated thc distillate vapes..... let’s not conflate the two. Nicotine vape and thc vapes are NOT the same thing.

It was Homebrew thc vape oil that was coating people's lungs that was the problem, also Chinese flavorings when burned put out carcinogens, not any of the mainstream vape juice which when heated is literally just nicotine and water vapor.

Makes sense. The product needs more research for public safety.

Good. I wish they would stop selling more stuff so the local businesses could get more customers. This is great news to anyone who owns a convenient store and sells e-cigs.

Stop selling knives and rope and guns and cigarettes. Just cut to the chase and stop selling anything, donate all your organs and give the remains to medical research, it's the only way to remedy the damage you've done by existing.

I'm a prior smoker and occasional vaper. Wal-Mart was discontinuing the sale of e-cigs long before these deaths were happening. Vapers aren't going to Wal-Mart for their liquids because they only carried the garbage liquids nobody wants to vape. And that is the true reason Wal-Mart is no longer going to carry them. All the quality stuff you get from a locally owned vape shop who actually care about their customers and will also carry liquids w/o nicotine. 😝

Along with guns, and video games.... watch it. Next thing you know, they're going to stop selling the Bible because it paints "divinity-challenged" individuals in a harsh light.
