Biden defends LGBTQ record at Iowa forum

During an event in Iowa on Friday, former VP Biden engaged in a tense exchange with a female moderator over his record on supporting gay rights. Biden was challenged about his support for the Defense of Marriage Act and Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell as a senator. Biden, defended himself, pointed out that he came out in support of same-sex marriage before former President Obama in 2012.

The Left is rejecting Biden, who keeps trying to court them for some bizarre reason. He is going to be attacked more and more by the other candidates.

I’m a Trump voter but I think Biden would be better off separating himself from the extreme left.

The LGBT demographic overlaps with the extreme left but not completely. Biden may be "forgiven" (so to speak) by the parts of the demographic that are not extreme leftists and which realizes that even Hillary Clinton had made anti-LGBT statements in the past because that was what the majority wanted to hear at the time.
