Well of course Iran is confident they can't avoid war they're begging for it. Don't give a child throwing a tempratamtrum what they want. Slap harsher sanction on iran.

Typical bluster. They must be feeling pretty insecure in their supposed innocence to be trying this intimidation route.

When I was young, I had an aunt and uncle who spent a lot of time in the Middle East. I always remember them telling me how the Arab types love to brag, bolster and flat out lie. It’s part of their culture.

Things must not be going as they planned, the Saudis are being slow and methodical in building their case to rally the international community. It must be making them nervous.

Sounds like Iran wants everyone to agree that the US doesn't need to be involved. I'm fine with that.

That’s honestly laughable, if England, Canada, France, Germany, Israel, and the US all come down on them for this dumb shit we could wipe out the entirety of their revolutionary guards, and any hope of them reforming in one foul swoop. When will these countries realize they have no power to be making these threats. Reminds me of that meme where the kid puts a stick in the spokes of his bike to make himself fall, then cries about it.

The Iranians WANT war, as far as they're concerned, Imam Madhi is here, and it's time for Armageddon. It's best not to indulge in their insanity. We're lucky Trump is pushing back on the warmongers.

Hey Obama and EU: yeah, it only makes sense to sign an agreement with a regime making these threats, paving it a path to nukes in 15 years.

This is a power play to get the US out of the region. Don’t be so naive to think Iran, Russia, and China wouldn’t take advantage of a power vacuum and that other nations in the region which the US has provided security guarantees to wouldn’t take hostile steps if this occurred. Don’t act so privileged to think that if the US backs out of the region that everything would essentially remain the same, but just less US taxpayer money being spent. The amount of the global economy directly and especially indirectly impacted would be immense. The average American will suffer with lower wages, fewer opportunities, higher prices on everything, product scarcities, escalated chance of open warfare in the Middle East exasperating these problems further, etc. The US being in the Middle East is distasteful, but isolation would only mean economic devastation for those you are professing to want to help.

I'm confident they have seen the videos. Fuel-air weapons. Robot drones. Things we aren't even aware of. Of all the countries in the world, I wouldn't want to go to war with America. This is rhetoric. Want to win a war? Don't pick on the big guy. You might bloody his nose. You will need a wheelchair if you do. And a colostomy bag.

No proof of Iranian involvement. But let's go to war "defending" the Saudi kingdom. That's the same Saudi kingdom that financed 9/11 and still finances Al Quida, ISIS and the Taliban. Let's have American soldiers die to protect the worst aggressors in American history.
