DNC raises polling and donor thresholds for fifth debate

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Monday announced new criteria for the fifth presidential debate in November. Now, candidates must either receive 3 per cent or more support in four national or early state polls or 5 per cent or more support in two polls of the states that hold early presidential nominating contests. They will also be required to have at least 165,000 unique donors.

The continuing presence of elebenty candidates is just a reflection on the fact that the Democratic base cannot unite behind any of them, even by this period of time. They are screwed.
