Massachusetts on Tuesday imposed a four-month ban on sales of all vaping products. The state will block all sales of e-cigarettes and supplies, both those used for tobacco and marijuana. The ban took immediate effect and will last through Jan. 25.
But tobacco (which kills more people every ten minutes than vaping has in its entire existence) is still being sold. Because think of the children?
How is this anything but straight up industry killing? How does this help anyone except for those in the tobacco industry?
I've never vaped, and I guess it is likely harmful. But no doubt cigarettes are worse, and MA just put many legitimate, legal businesses...out of business...with no warning. Not a good precedent.
