United Auto Workers strike against GM may be headed to day 8

The GM strike by 49,000 United Auto Workers is now in its second week. While progress is reported in negotiations there is no clear end in sight yet. Bargainers met all weekend and returned to talks Monday morning as the strike entered its eighth day. GM accused picketers in Tennessee of blocking traffic, placing screws and nails on public roads, harassing motorists and damaging vehicles.

Oh a strike ! That’s a great way to handle a dispute in the car industry circa 2019. Must have some really clever guys running the union ( or some really smart guys planning some closures).
