’They’re murdering my son’, says Julian Assange’s father

In an interview, Julian Assange’s father John Shipton has raised concerns of his son’s safety while saying ’They will murder Julian one way or the other’. Shipton said that Julian has lost 15 kilos in weight while being held in Belmarsh Maximum Security prison and is in solitary confinement for 22 hours per day. Shipton added that British judges are acting with ’insouciant malice’.

The mistreatment of Julian Assange is an indication of how much liberties and rights have been lost to an overly authoritarian political system. How do American laws apply outside of the American territory and against non-citizens?? How is the public ok with the government keeping him from his legal team? This seriously upsets me.
