Syrian government used chemical weapons in attack on Idlib, says Pompeo

Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State of the United States said on Thursday that chemical weapons were used by Syria in the attack on the city of Idlib in the month of May. The attack by the Bashir al-Assad led government involved the use of chlorine and many of its activities could be deemed as crimes against humanity, Pompeo further said.

I do not believe this, not without some damn strong evidence. This feels like a continuation of the old cold war crap against Russian allies. The rebels are known to be using chemical weapons and to be targeting civilians.
