G7 foreign ministers meet face-to-face after pandemic pause

Foreign ministers from the G7 gathered Tuesday in London for their first face-to-face meeting in more than two years, with China high on the agenda. Host nation Britain has warned that the increasingly aggressive stances of Russia, China and Iran pose a challenge to democratic societies and the international rule of law. The UK Foreign Secretary said the meeting ’demonstrates diplomacy is back.’

If Argentina had fulfilled its turn of the 20th century potential to be quite prosperous in the long term, we would be talking of the G8 and not the G7. And Argentina would be the only Southern Hemisphere member of the G8!
