Sanders calls for higher taxes on companies with wide pay gaps

Sen. Bernie Sanders on Monday revealed a plan to hike taxes on big companies with wide pay gaps between executives and workers. Sanders’ plan would raise tax rates on companies where the CEO or highest-paid exec earns more than 50 times the median worker salary. Sanders’ campaign said if the plan had been in place last year, JP Morgan Chase would have paid up to $991.6 million more in taxes.

Control and reduce the deficit first, BEFORE creating any new taxes. Pay the public debt BEFORE paying private debt. You're spending other people's money, government, and its still not enough? You have to also spend imaginary money from the future? You have to grab more and more out of other's pockets and you still overspend? Don't misunderstand me. I'm not pro CEO mega - pay. But addressing a wrong with a further wrong does not a right make. The government is not entitled to all the monies past, present and future. STOP IGNORING THE DEFICIT.

I'm not a Republican, nor a Democrat, and that's so subjective it's not even funny. most pay gaps are hours related anyway
