Peruvian President dissolves Congress in bid to pass anti-corruption laws

The latest efforts are part of a year-long battle with right wing lawmakers, who have deemed the President’s latest move as ’dictatorial’. Termed by many as Peru’s worst political unrest in two decades, experts feel lawmaking could subsequently come to a halt in the South American nation.
