UPS has gained FAA approval to operate a ’drone airline’

UPS has received permission from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to begin using airborne drones to deliver packages. The certification lets the company operate as many drones as it wants during the day or night. The only restriction relates to weight - no one UPS drone can carry more than 55 pounds of cargo in a single trip.

Wonder how long it will be for people to Target these drones to get at the package.

Imagine a 50 pound package dropping on your head after a surge of wind. Imagine all the noise when there are thousands of drones are flying in the sky.

Like there's not enough noise pollution. Drones whine like a 120 lb mosquito.

This is a great development, and will revolutionize logistics in this country. Ignore the naysayers in here, who have probably never even seen a drone.
