HP to slash 7,000 to 9,000 jobs over three years as part of major restructuring

Personal computer and printer maker HP Inc.’s new CEO said they will be cutting its workforce by as much as 16% over the next three years as a part of the company’s latest plan to streamline its operations. The employees are expected to drop to 55,000 by 2020. It expects the moves to save it about $1 billion a year by the end of its 2022 fiscal year.
