U.S.A. and Europeans warned by North Korea

The United States of America, Germany, France and Britain were warned by North Korea that they should not raise the issue of Pyongyang’s missiles at the United Nations Security Council. Raising the issue would lead North Korea to further increase their desire to defend their sovereignty.

I’m going to clue everyone in on a secret for getting to the truth on Asian politics. This is the most important thing you will ever learn about Communist governments in East Asia: The governments will never tolerate anything embarrassing to be published about them. Remember when you read story after story in Western media that Trump backed down from tariffs against China in August? At the negotiating table, Xi’s media man insisted Trump say nothing about the concessions they made to get relief from those sanctions, to avoid the appearance of weakness. So when you hear North Korea exclaiming that they walked away from the table in disgust, the truth is they capitulated to Trump in the most embarrassing ways possible. As part of the agreement, Trump will never say what he got from them, because they need to control the narrative, and besides the Western media is very pro-Communist governments. So now you understand.

China wants news headlines directed away from Hong Kong. Hence why NK both resumed and ended negotiations with USA in an inflammatory manner. It won't work.

North Korea's bargaining position is rather weak. The only thing that they have to offer is knocking it off on the regular petty threats. America loses nothing at this point if North Korea backs out of talks. In short this is just posturing by North Korea.

Meaning the North Koreans made demands either for the lifting of sanctions and/or the removal of troops from the DMZ and withdrawal from the mutual defense treaty and the US said no. Considering the reference to "irreversible withdrawal from the hostile policy" my guess is the latter. North Korea's official stance is still that the South is a rogue province that needs to be conquered and brought back into the fold, something that would be impossible at this point even if the US left but Kim needs the US to withdraw publicly for political reasons. This is something that the US will never agree to.

I guess they love living under sanctions.

NK is nothing if not brilliant at trolling. This is, effectively, NK saying Trump could be out of office relatively soon, he's on shaky ground back home so why don't we (NK) just pull out of all talks which makes him look even worse now, and may add fuel to the growing problems back in the US. If we can help force him out sooner, that's better for us too! (NK)
