Indian hospitals go to court as they struggle for supplies

Hospitals in India’s capital city of New Delhi have turned to court, as they struggle to get supplies running dangerously short. A two-judge bench of the Delhi High Court has been holding hearing on petitions from hospitals invoking India’s constitutional right to protection of life. The city says it needs 976 T of medical oxygen daily, but gets less than 490T allocated by the federal govt.

Well why don't Biden invoke the war act and start making more oxygen generators for the world and Bill Gates come up with somebody and start buying them up and Warren Buffett to put your money where your mouth is

Sounds like it's a case of the nine most terrifying words in the English language and they are I'm from the government and I'm here to help they couldn't help themselves out of a paper bag government has been going downhill

Whereas the situation in India is horrible, I’m curious if they actually expect to achieve anything by this? You could sue a homeless person for a billion dollars for burning down your factory..... but he’ll never be able to pay it... so what’s the point? If the government doesn’t have the supply or logistics, then suing them for supply is unproductive pursuit.
