Hearthstone player banned for supporting Hong Kong protesters

Blizzard has placed a one-year ban on a Hong-Kong-based professional gamer who staged an anti-government protest during a post-match interview. Ng Wai Chung put on a gas mask and shouted, ’Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our age’, after the Grandmasters Hearthstone tournament. Blizzard said the ban was for breaking rules that players must not offend people.

Sorry, but unless Blizzard bans all political protests, which they don't, I won't buy anymore of their products. Bye Felicia.

Look I understand why they actually need to do this, as a little ove half of their player base is in China, and the cant afford to loose all of that revenue if China bans their games. I agree in the notion that this is wrong on a moral and ethical level, but unlike many corperations, U do understand their methodology.

Oh, I feel so bad for the people in Hong Kong. I really want them to succeed. Communism (Marxism in general) and the people who support it are so f*cking evil. Does anyone know how the people of Hong Kong can be helped? What can people in other countries do to support them?

I don't get it, why is it wrong that Blizzard, company that focuses on games, not politics, bans someone for using their event for promoting political agenda, regardless of it's background?
