China state newspaper criticizes Apple for app used by Hong Kong protesters

China’s state media has slammed Apple for endorsing and protecting protesters in Hong Kong by listing an app that tracks the movement of police in the city. Apple made the app HKmap.live active on its app store on 5 Oct., reversing an earlier decision to reject the submission. The People’s Daily said, ’Allowing the ’poisonous’ app to flourish is a betrayal of the Chinese people’s feelings’.

Glad to see Apple do the right thing and allow the app on its store. It's always "you have hurt|betrayed|saddened the Chinese people!" yet it's only ever the CCP that says that, trying to confuse the dummies out there into conflating the CCP with the Chinese people. It's clearly not true.
