Britain and Ireland see pathway to possible Brexit deal

A joint statement following talks between British PM Boris Johnson and his Irish counterpart Leo Varadkar has stated that a Brexit deal remains possible. ’The Prime Minister (Johnson) and Taoiseach (Varadkar) have had a detailed and constructive discussion’, the statement said, outlining that both agreed ’they could see a pathway to a possible deal’.

The funniest part in all of this is that the Irish PM actually thinks his opinion matters. I mean it did so long as he was against any deal that didn’t include Northern Ireland staying in the EU, basically annexing a part of the United Kingdom but the minute heck the second he says he is up for a deal the EU will not give two damns what he thinks. As someone else in the comments if the EU says no then it’s no. No matter what. I hope Boris sticks to his guns and we walk on Oct 31st with no deal and refuse to pay the billions that they claim we owe even though they technically owe us.

Silly Ireland they seem to think they have a say in what happens in the EU. Mother said there was no deal so Ireland has no choice but fall in line and suffer.

No. The Iron-Cross Lady told Boris no. Ireland is hers.
