Google Maps is getting more detailed spoken walking directions

A new feature on Google Maps gives users with vision impairments more detailed voice guidance. They can now receive new types of verbal announcements during walking trips. To turn on the feature, go to settings in Google Maps and choose ’Navigation.’ At the bottom of the list, find ’Detailed voice guidance,’ under the ’Walking options’

long overdue in my opinion, they just need to also add better directions other than turn right, or head east doesn't detail street names at all, makes it a pain in the ass when you're on a motorcycle
