Google’s funding climate change deniers

A report from the Guardian published Friday revealed that the company is contributing to more than a dozen organizations that have questioned the need for action or pushed back against climate regulations. One of the groups listed as receiving significant contributions from Google is Competitive Enterprise Institute, an organization that describes itself as questioning ’global warming alarmism’.

Can we stop listening to the poetry and graphic arts majors when it comes to STEM. They did not do science in school because the are not able to do the work or understand the concepts. So why are we listening to them now when they are calling for the mass murder of 4 8 billion people via starvation and their ridiculous claims that the world is going to end in 12 years.

I have posted this before but claims of the mythical 97% keep getting thrown around by the Climate Cultists. =============================== Claims of "97% consensus amongst climate scientists" has been debunked MANY times over the years. That number was derived by going through the abstracts (not the full papers!) of ~12000 climate publications and determining whether the author attributed climate change to anthropogenic causes, no anthropogenic cause, or unknown. ~66% took no position on climate change cause. ~32% attributed the cause to anthropogenic, and of THOSE that expressed a position they found 97.1% blamed humanity. So 97.1% of 32% of 12k abstracts. That's not a particularly strong "consensus". Source:

The questions is not if the climate does change because it of cause does it but more importent questions are : How much will it change How big will the impact be How long will the change take Is it just a phase or a permanent change

1) The NV headline should read "Google Supports Skeptics of Climate Alarmism". 2) Calling someone a science denier these days is the same as calling them a heretic. Science has become the new religion of the ill informed where scientists are the high priests. Only a fool would believe a scientist (or 97.1% of 32% of 12000 papers written by them) for the sole fact that they happen to be a scientist. Science stands or falls on its own. 3) Funny how people who believe in more than two genders talk about "science deniers". Let the flames rise. 🔥

The first rule of science is to question EVERYTHING. That is the basis of science.

It's interesting how you're essentially not able to question climate change

Good. It's actually doing something useful then.

climate change people are in a cult. look at typical cult features. The group displays excessively zealous and unquestioning commitment to its leader and (whether he is alive or dead) regards his belief system, ideology, and practices as the Truth, as law. ‪ Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished. ‪ The leadership dictates, sometimes in great detail, how members should think, act, and feel (for example, members must get permission to date, change jobs, marry or leaders prescribe what types of clothes to wear, where to live, whether or not to have children, how to discipline children, and so forth). The group teaches or implies that its supposedly exalted ends justify whatever means it deems necessary. This may result in members' participating in behaviors or activities they would have considered reprehensible or unethical before joining the group (for example, lying to family or friends, or collecting money for bogus charities). ‪ The leadership induces feelings of shame and/or guilt iin order to influence and/or control members. Often, this is done through peer pressure and subtle forms of persuasion.

Hilarious. Was this an attempt to mitigate their image as a far-left organization that happened to backfire?

Can we make an anti-greta. Just another teenage girl who denies climate change completely. Then we can have them debate on stage. I'd watch that pouty teenage cry-athon.
