Japan typhoon death toll rises to 58

The death toll resulting from the typhoon that hit Japan has climbed to 66 on Tuesday. Rescuers slogged through mud and debris in an increasingly grim search for the missing, estimated at 15. Typhoon Hagibis, which smashed into central and eastern Japan, has left more than 200 people injured. About 133,000 households remain without water while 22,000 lacked electricity.
