US appeals court reopens Trump hotel lawsuit

A federal appeals court will reconsider a ruling from a three-judge panel that threw out a lawsuit accusing President Trump of illegally profiting off the presidency through his luxury hotel in Washington, D.C. A three-judge panel of the court ruled on July 10 that the attorneys general lacked legal standing to bring the lawsuit.

on the side of the fact that the emoluments clause doesn't app here the suppose violation is a usage of a hotel by the armed forces in Scotland that has been used before the Obama administration so wtf are we looking at?
