93-year-old former Nazi camp guard goes on trial in a youth court

A former concentration camp guard arrived in court in a wheelchair on Thursday. Identified only as Bruno D., the 93-year-old is accused of being an accessory to 5,230 murders in the final months of World War II. He was part of a force manning the watchtowers in Stutthof concentration camp. He was 17 and 18 at the time of the offences, so the nonagenarian will be tried in a youth court.

So a 18 year old manning the watchtowers over the camp following orders is considered criminal? I mean he wasn't handling the killing but was just a soldier, not an executioner. It's suprising how quickly Modern Germany forgets that they pardoned many German Soldiers in WW2 yet the guy manning the watchtower, that guy was evil.

I'd really like to hear what the man has to say and what his actual experiences were.

get back to me when you can find a death camp that wasn't in Soviet(Bolsheviks) territory.

Anyone else ever wonder why a person is almost instantly demonized and dismissed with the usual shaming terms if they question the established narrative concerning WW2 and the circumstances that lead up to it, or why a group of black clad ninja commies wanna "punch Nazis"? Things that make you go hmm. 🤔

This is absolute stupidity.

Why so soon?

A 17 year old forced to be a soldier or die. I dont see how he is an accesory to 5000 murders unless he pulled triggers or dropped in gas canisters. I'm not defending him for his actions, but people forget that most of these guys thought they were the good guys at first, then realized shortly when they got orders just exactly what they were doing.

Gotta catch em all! Nazi Scum! But for real though, there running out of time, cause only like 1000 people are left from that era, and it's mostly Hitler's youth brigades. Some point you gotta factor in brainwashing.

first off, dude was 17and lived under what could reasonably be compared to an islamist cult, i dont imagine he had many options. second, he was just a guard. third its been almost a century since im pretty sure hes no longer the man hr was bavk then, nor do i think its reasonable to punish any crime decades after the fact really. except outright murder, ehich he didnt do, far as i know, he wad a guard

when will russian troops be held responsible for their actual war crimes, rape and murder, against women and children as they invaded germany in 1945?

No opportunity for healing. Germany needs to learn to not let its past consume its psyche.

If he is found guilty. I don't give a crap how old he is; Fry the old bastard! Because of this kind of scum millions of people did not have the chance to live a life as long as he did.
