City of Madison declares racism a public health crisis

The city of Madison, Wisconsin, signed on to a statewide resolution declaring racism as a public health crisis Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Ruben Anthony, president and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Madison, said that with national conversation on immigration and the shooting of unarmed black people, the health of people of color is in danger.

So... Madison Wisconsin thinks racism is a virus? Or some other form of microbe that is transmittable? Amazing. If true then I imagine they will win the Ignoble Prize!
