Macy’s to stop selling natural fur by end of 2020 fiscal year

Retail giant Macy’s Inc has announced that it will stop the sale of fur by the end of the fiscal year of 2020. The move follows California’s decision to ban the sale of new fur products. The company said that since its customer base is moving away from natural fur, it has decided to follow suit.

Bummer. They should have spent some research on how to vat-grow fur. I wouldn't mind having that.

Honestly, fur products are frivolous and expensive. We shouldn't ban it, but tax it out of existence really. Taxing luxury goods would be a great thing for financial downturns in recessions since luxury goods are mostly unaffected in sales as rich people can afford a downturn.
