Brazilians rally to clean beaches amid outrage at oil spill inaction

On Monday, locals from Brazil’s northeastern state of Bahia came together to clean up an oil spill following what they called a lack of action by the government. Thousands of people took part in a cleanup to remove oil and tar from the beaches. Officials first started investigating the source of the vast oil spill in September. Since then, public outrage has grown against the government inaction.
